Time for members of Congress and many citizens to get ahold of a copy of the Constitution and do some remedial review of the principles of our government. Hint: if it's law passed by Congress, signed by the President, and upheld by the Supreme Court - it a law! You don't get to 'defund' it nor make demands that it be repealed. Romney, the principal champion of the predecessor to ACA inexplicably ran on a platform to repeal it (good for the people of MA, but not for the rest of you people!) and he LOST THE ELECTION. The people spoke but our voice is being drowned out by obnoxious bullies. We the people who elect our representatives and senators need to take stock and make sure that we stop sending ignornant arrogant and obstreperous persons to Congress. It's our job. Let's take it seriously.

Hey GOP, I have an idea! Drop all of your 'negotiations' and let the government get back to work 100%! The Health Care Reform Act was upheld by the Supreme Court. Now you are making government agencies come to a stop, leaving thousands of workers without employment, because YOU DON'T LIKE IT? Republicans come across as first graders who won't let school go on because Johnny took the green lollipop.
Hear, hear!! Way to go Cathy!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't read it, because I've gone over my monthly viewing quota, but if she is as furious as I am, it must be scorching!
ReplyDeleteGo, Cathy! They should be sent back to their seats without supper and not allowed to come out until they can act like responsible grownups.
ReplyDeleteShe was indeed infuriated by their duplicity. she said the staginess also made her angry: "the men had every bit as much makeup as the women."
ReplyDeleteOh brother, it was painful to watch the pubs, but it was worth it to wait for Cathy to speak out, and wow, did she speak or what?
ReplyDelete"Mad as hell and not going to take it anymore!"
Spread the outrage. We will need it to vote out those Tea Party crazies in next year's midterm.
History repeats itself.
