Papa Francisco

"On March 15, the NYTimes had this wonderful article:  "God Is an Argentine."  Why not?

The new pope seems to be drenched in the milk of human kindness, save for his early training
and practice.  It does make me nervous when I see the video clips of him kissing all those little babies, though.  I picture the little runny noses, and I hope Papa Francisco does not catch a cold!!

Chuckling! Maybe all those little baby germs will cancel out each other and make the Pope not only healthy but invincible...and all those crazies who hate people who love the poor will get colds aplenty!

  3. Imagine the added income for the One True Church if he had chosen the name Sicola ;-)

    As in Pope Sicola ;-)

  4. Yeah, they blew that one! Except i don't think there has ever been a saint named "Sicola," has there? They have to take a canonized saint's name (or at least the name of a papal predecessor).

that's be fun, though....humming the jingle

    "Pope Sicola hits the spot,
full of mandates, that's a lot.
Twice as much and better, too.
POPE SICOLA is the one for you...."

  6. If he was drenched in milk it must not have been human breast milk because I am not happy about his attitude toward women as expressed in earlier comments. I hope he has had a change of heart since 2007.
