Happy Birthday, Sam!
Boys do grow up...and have birthdays. Tomorrow, July 1, is the birthday of Samuel Robert Woodruff, the handsome guy on the left in both pictures. He's always been the second son, but he's taller than his brother, Joe, now. He's still the life of the party and one hell of a drummer. Whatever life offers you this year, Sammy, TAKE IT!! Meet it with your wonderful smile and spirit. Never forget that your brother loves you to pieces. And so do we all. Happy Birthday, Sam! Lots of love, Gran.....(P.S. the check is in the mail)

ReplyDeleteHilarious pictures! Both hamming it up as usual. Birthday Boy is burning the midnight oil writing an essay so he can go to the beach over the long weekend. We'll have to celebrate when he gets back. And then he needs his driving permit- oh my!

Wow. The pictures are so full of memories of Sal and Peg when we were kids. I see Sal in first picture of Sam - Peg (and even Tom) in the picture of Joe at the bottom.
