Love notes to the English language
Wow!!! I wish we had her here! She looks just like my friend Hortense here -- another dynamo elder!!!!
Kay: it's so very good for our MINDS, too...i'm going to start checking out places hereabouts for this. i do have a complete set of free weights and a wonderful book....just too lazy to get back into it.
I used to go to the gym before breaking my hip but I never looked like that.
I've seen this woman before and she's inspiring. One thing I've learned, arms are the easiest and quickest muscles to shape up. And props to the late Jack Lalane (sp?) who taught us that if we don't use it, we lose it!sally
Oh I hope that the arms can be shaped up. They sure do shape "down" real fast.Cat
Darlene: I've never gone to the gym OR looked like that. I was pretty strong when I was younger (wringing out diapers for 4 kids'll do it)....:0)Sally: LaLanne....he was so right. use it or lose it.Cat: they shape OUT
Never too late to start, in fact there is a latest study that suggests that you can build muscles at any age and it will keep you out of trouble. My dad until few months before he died ran about 20 miles a week and tennis twice a week. Just make sure you start slow by walking a mile or two a day and build on it!
